Picture
Art  collection management includes the following services. These can be performed  separately at any time.

Collection  Care: BPart  treats your objects with respect providing guidelines for all aspects of the  collection care and conservation including storage and display, handling and  general care, housekeeping and pest control, matting and framing, lighting,  insurance and security.

Condition  Reports: are usually made at the beginning of the  inventory process. However inspection and photography of the pieces to evaluate their  state and provide a complete report can be done at any time. This type of  evaluation is recommended for most insurance companies yearly.

Loans:  BPart handles all of your collections on loan, recording corresponding  information every time it is out of your premises: the borrower, start and  end dates, insurer and insured total in any currency and loan location. BPart is familiar with  museum expectations, including packing, condition reporting, tracking and  handling of your collection items. BPart reviews loan agreements, facilities report, and insurance documents.

Shipping: BPart coordinates local, domestics, and international shipments for exhibitions, art fairs, auctions, and private clients
with the most reputable shipping companies in the United States and abroad. BPart gets estimates for picking up/ delivering, installing/deinstalling, packing, and crating, as well as custom quotes and insurance. BPart also consolidate shipments to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

Photography: photography is required to accurately record the works in a collection.  The photographs of each work are taken at the same time the pieces are being  cataloged. Most insurance companies and appraisers require digital photography  for their reports.

Installations: BPart manage installation and deinstallation of works for private clients, exhibitions and art fairs, hiring art handlers, supervising, taking detail condition reports, photographs, and packing and unpacking.

Couriering: BPart act as a courier for very valuable and fragile art works nationally and internationally.

Archival  File System Creation: all files relevant to your art collection are examined  and correlated to corresponding objects. Relevant information is entered into your database and a "physical file system" is developed.

Expenses: BPart records all  expenses related to your collection, such as conservation, photography,
shipping, installation, insurance, appraisal services and more.

Publications: if your piece has ever  been referred to or discussed in a publication, BPart  tracks this down for you, keeping the records and relevant information such as  type of publication, title and author, publisher, and volume.

Labeling: your art needs to be  identified at any time for insurance, exhibitions, cataloguing or any other  purpose. BPart labels your work following specifications of the AAM.

Acquisition Research: BPart researches and records all the relevant information pertaining to the acquisition,  including date of acquisition, seller of the piece, invoice number  and date, purchase and discount total in any currency.

Reports:  BPart  prepares a customized report for you every time you need it for special  purposes.

Storage: BPart  helps you to evaluate and/or choose the proper storage facility considering two  main factors: protection and preservation. Protection, against fire, flood,  theft, light exposure and temperature fluctuations, and preservation, to ensure  their durability, using archival and acid  free
materials.
